In this brilliant and illuminating short film, campaigner, Patrick Graham, tackles this subject head-on with a series of interviews with the falsely accused. It is not an exaggeration to say that this film invokes horror and that all right-minded citizens ought to be concerned. Anyone from any walk of life can be subjected to a false allegation. In the words of one interviewee, describing his experience:
I think the police were not interested one bit in the truth of the matter at all – what they wanted was a conviction. This whole thing is driven by performance, by statistics; it’s driven by political dogma, it’s driven by ideology. Without the impartiality of law, what have we got?
